My daughter spent the entire summer w/ Norfolk Parks and Rec. and she has come out of her "Shy" shell and LOVES TO JUST GET OUT AND PLAY! Thanks NP&R for providing such amazing programs and opportunities for our youth

My family moved to Norfolk when I was in kindergarten, and I danced for Norfolk Parks & Rec all the way up until this year when I went off to college. With the Parks and Rec program, Norfolk Botanical Garden, Nauticus, Norview Park's giant playground, miles of beaches, and the great school system, Norfolk is a perfect place for kids to learn and have fun at the same time.

Norfolk is a great city and a great place to live! Norfolk has so much to offer the citizens of Norfolk. My family and friends travel to Norfolk to take advantage of leisure activities, shopping, sporting events, etc. Everyone loves Norfolk!!!!!

Wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that tried so hard to make this happen! I know we had alot of technical challenges. With the response we got, whether you got to vote or not, we know you are behind us. With or without the grant we are a Playful City and we will be in touch to let you know what we are up to. Look for great things from a great city!
