Wow, what an opportunity to be recognized Nationally. Spartanburg, we have the chance to show everyone what a wonderful community we have, so let's show the world what a great place we live in. Great job Mayor Barnett, Director Tony Fisher, and Jhasmyne Carter in putting together the video. I hope everyone shares my excitement and votes for Spartanburg. Again, great job!

I'm not from Spartanburg...I am originally from Camden, NJ. I attend school here, and I definitely agree with building the cities parks. The youth need somewhere that they can go and be active....We just have to work on making it a safe place, and keeping it up.

I think this is a worthwhile cause - The City should be promoting this program instead of spending tax dollars promoting "fluff", do something "real".
